Research Interests

I am interested in the evolutionary dynamics of species formation and hybridization. In particular, I study how the genomic architecture of adaptation and reproductive isolation can advance species divergence, and how the genomic outcomes of gene flow among populations or introgression in hybrid zones might be indicative of the processes involved in adaptation or speciation. I combine the analysis of genomic data from organisms at different stages of divergence, statistical modeling, and computer simulations for my research.
